Tuition and Enrollment

 

Enrollment Process:

The first step to enrolling your child in the Academy is to call and schedule a visit during one of our open house events. You will observe in the classrooms and meet with the administrative staff.  We will explain, in depth, the philosophy of our program,  answer your questions, and provide you an enrollment packet. 

 

To enroll your child for the next available opening, the Student Application Form included in your enrollment packet must be completed and submitted along with a non-refundable $100 registration fee.

 

Upon receiving your completed Application Form, we will schedule a time for your child to visit the school and meet with a teacher for a preadmission interview.  This gives your child a chance to experience the work environment and see the campus.  The teacher will be evaluating your child for basic readiness skills.

 

After the interview, you will meet with the director to discuss a start date for your child.

Half Day Program: 8:15 to 11:15 a.m.*

School Day Program: 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. $903 per month

Full Day Program (7 to 10 hours per day**)

* Three and four Half Day programs available for 3 year old children upon request.
   
** The Full Day Program is for students attending classes and on campus 7 to 10 hours per day, including time in before or after school programs; The Academy opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 5:45 p.m.  
 

 

Tuition Payments:

Tuition is due on or before the first day of each month. A late charge of $20 is added to tuition payments made 10 or more days after the first day of each month. No reduction in tuition can be made for illness or personal absences, or school closures during the academic year. 

 

Student Withdrawals or Schedule Changes:

A 30-day written notice is required if withdrawing a child from the Academy or making a permanent schedule change.

 

Admissions Policy:

Montessori Academy will consider admission of any child whose parents support the Montessori philosophy and method of education as it is expressed at Montessori Academy.

 

Montessori Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin and avails to them all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the Academy. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and other school administered programs.
